Here is information about each of the aviation groups that will be in attendance:
Antique Airplane Association of Colorado
The Antique Airplane Association of Colorado (AAACO) is a group of individuals dedicated to restoring antique airplanes and inspiring youth to investigate and pursue aviation. The AAACO and their STEM Outreach Team will be bringing a wind tunnel that they have designed and built. Using the wind tunnel, kids will be able to test various airfoil shapes in order to learn about lift and drag, two critical factors that determine how well airplanes fly.

Redstone College
Redstone College is located in Broomfield, Colorado and offers diploma and degree programs in a variety of technical fields, including aviation and electronics. Redstone will be bringing a Top Wrench activity and their amazing Jet Car.

Elite Aviation - Longmont
Elite Aviation is the new Fixed Based Operator (FBO) at Longmont Vance Brand Airport. They offer flight training, airplane rentals, aviation fuel and repairs, as well as basic aviation equipment. They will provide information about their operations with an emphasis on flight lessons and how visitors can get started.

Aero-Sphere Inc. Flight Lab
At Aero-Sphere Flight Lab, they specialize in scenario based flight training with a RedBird FMX full motion AATD. Their mission is to train pilots, promote safety of flight and breed aviation enthusiasm. They are based out of a hangar at Longmont Airport and will be giving away certificates for free trials in their full-motion flight simulator!

Rotor and Fixed for Charity
Rotor and Fixed for Charity is a non-profit organization whose goal is to foster and promote aviation to interested individuals in order to build confidence, skills, and a lifelong interest in aviation. They will bring computer flight simulators as well as helicopter control stick simulators.

Arvada Associated Modelers
The Arvada Associated Modelers is a non-profit organization whose goal is to introduce people to the fun and enjoyment of safely flying model airplanes and helicopters. They will be bringing a four rotor (quad) helicopter that can be flown indoors and outdoors by using an iPad as the hand-held controller.

Colorado Aviation Historical Society
The Colorado Aviation Historical society is dedicated to acquiring, restoring, preserving, and providing for public display, aircraft and other objects of historical interest to the history of aviation in Colorado and elsewhere. They will be bringing a variety of aviation artifacts for the public to enjoy.

Federal Aviation Administration (FAA)
The Federal Aviation Administration is charged with providing the safest, most efficient aerospace system in the world. They strive to reach the next level of safety, efficiency, environmental responsibility and global leadership. Brian D. Richardson, FAA Safety Team Program Manager in Denver will be present to answer questions and inform people of the duties of the FAA.

Civil Air Patrol
Civil Air Patrol's aerospace education efforts focus on two different audiences: volunteer CAP members and the general public. The programs ensure that all CAP members (seniors and cadets) have an appreciation for and knowledge of aerospace issues. They will be bringing Styrofoam gliders and cadets will be present to answer questions regarding CAP and how to join.
